Abstract

|
Collected data of ABO group and Rho (D) negative in recent five years obtained from
16 institutions were analysed as seen in table 2, 4, and 9.
In ABO group, Koreans have a high frequency of B and a relatively low frequency of
the O gene compared with their frequency of Japanese.
The incidence of Rho (D) negative was 0.135% in collected data and 13 double
registered Rh negative were detected through this collective anaysis of 99 cases from 16
institutions.
So the actual incidence of Rho (D) negative may be little more lower than 0.135%.
The genotype of Rho (D) negative was analysed in table 12 and showed higher Cde
and extreme rare cdE and CdE.
Literature review was made on Rh-Hr subtypes. MNS system, P system, Lewis
factor, Kell factor Lutheran factor, Duffy system and Diego factor of Korean as seen
from table 13 through table 25.
